Happy America Recycles Day!
We’ve told you before about our commitment to sustainability. In addition to our rigorous vetting of mills, our official certification by the Forestry Stewardship Council, and our 100% remote company structure that minimizes our footprint, we’re also proud to say that 100% of our cardstock is made either partially or entirely from post-consumer recycled material.
Some further ways crafters can get into recycling include:
- Donating unwanted cardstock and other crafting supplies to creative reuse centers, schools, senior centers, and community centers;
- Saving your cardstock scraps for use in future projects instead of just throwing them away;
- Saving old holiday and birthday cards and cutting out the designs for use in your own handmade cards;
- Re-gifting; and
- Offering to design a recycling program for your favorite local crafting business.
