Today is National Cancer Survivors Day.
It’s a good day to celebrate so many things: those who continue to survive; those who are doing the hard work of relearning life after cancer; those who have resources to share with newly diagnosed patients; those who have gone before us after surviving for a time; and most of all, the bonds of love that weave our lives together and sustain us.
Cancer can be scary. So can life after cancer. Fortunately, you don’t have to experience it alone.
We hope you’ll visit www.ncsd.org today to find community, resources, and information for yourself or someone you care about. And of course, it’s a great day to make a card to tell a survivor how grateful you are for their presence in your life.
We’re so glad you’re with us. Today, we wish you peace, joy, love, and ease.
